Converse

Reinventing an Iconic American Brand

Converse began in 1908 as a rubber shoe company specializing in galoshes. Soon after, they started using their rubber to make sneakers. In 1920, Converse renamed their canvas basketball sneaker the “All Star.” The name stuck as well as the brand.

For Converse I decided to go back to the basics and design something that appeals to all types of men. “Let your star shine,” reflects in my opinion converse’s mission accurately. Each ad represents a different lifestyle allowing men to visualize themselves wearing Converse.
